Valerie Georgelin is an associate attorney at Eclat Law focusing on business and real estate law. She handles general business counseling, homeowners’ associations development and dispute resolution, negotiating residential and commercial sale and lease agreements, landlord and tenant matters, contractor disputes, land use, and commercial and real estate closings.
Valerie represents developers, general contractors, investor groups, and financial institutions. Valerie also counsels foreign investors in the structuring and planning of real estate acquisitions throughout the state of Florida. As a bilingual attorney of South American heritage, Ms. Georgelin represents numerous Spanish-speaking domestic and Latin American clients who seek to establish their business in Central Florida. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Ms. Georgelin was a real estate agent in Miami, FL, focusing on commercial and residential real estate for over a decade. Some of her accomplishments as a Realtor include negotiating foreclosure and short sales contracts directly with banks, negotiating commercial leases for high end restaurants, selling income producing farms, and representing Michael Jordan in purchasing a residential property. Ms. Georgelin now uses her extensive real estate background in her real estate practice as a lawyer.
